Cell culture system "Magnetic3D"

3D cell culture system utilizing magnetic force!

"Magnetic3D" is a cell culture system that attaches nano-shuttles (particles composed of iron oxide, gold, and poly-L-lysine) to the cell surface to form spheroids using magnetic force. It allows for easy observation by forming a single spheroid in a flat well. It can also be used for cells that typically have difficulty forming spheroids in standard cultures. 【Features】 ■ Easy observation due to the formation of a single spheroid in a flat well ■ Spheroids can be fixed with magnetic force, allowing for medium exchange ■ Suitable for screening through imaging analysis *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Automated Cell Culture System 'CellXpress.ai'

Automating the culture of 3D tissue models! Enhancing the reliability and reproducibility of assays, significantly reducing human error, and improving the productivity of the cell culture process.

Organoids derived from iPS cells and tissue stem cells are expected to serve as advanced in vitro models for disease modeling and drug screening, as they mimic human tissue structure and function, thereby improving the clinical predictability of drug responses. However, challenges such as the complexity of sample preparation, reproducibility, and scalability hinder their practical application as a major screening method in drug discovery. To address this bottleneck in sample preparation, our product does not perform mechanical operations regularly; instead, AI machine learning automatically makes decisions based on monitoring results of the samples. Under a 24-hour operational environment, it appropriately conducts and manages medium exchanges and passaging, fully automating the complex workflow of the organoid culture process. As a result, we achieve significant reductions in costs and time, as well as a decrease in human error, while enhancing the productivity of the cell culture process in assays using iPS cells and organoids. *For detailed specifications, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to consult us.*

[FreedomEVO Case Study] Australian Eye Research Centre

The path to curing degenerative eye diseases: Introducing the case study of "Freedom EVO."

The Australian Centre for Eye Research (CERA), established in 1996, is an institution that combines public health and clinical epidemiology with cutting-edge research to elucidate the causes of eye diseases and develop new treatments. The Neuroregeneration Research Unit and the Clinical Genetics Unit are creating cell models of diseases that can lead to blindness, such as glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration (AMD), and hereditary retinal dystrophies, using induced pluripotent stem cells (iPS cells) to explore potential therapies. After establishing stem cell lines, the challenge was to develop a reliable protocol for maintaining this cell culture, but the manual process was cumbersome and time-consuming. To address this, a custom-made sterile work 'Freedom EVO System' equipped with an 84-plate LiCONiC incubator was introduced. [Case Study] - Installation Site: Australian Centre for Eye Research (CERA) - Purpose of Installation: To free staff from simple tasks and minimize variability in cultured cells - Product Installed: 'Freedom EVO System' *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] iPS Cell-Derived Organ Manufacturing System

Realizing automation based on closed system (isolator technology)! Introduction of case studies.

We would like to introduce a case where our "iPS cell-derived organ manufacturing system" has been implemented at the Graduate School of Medicine, Yokohama City University, Public University Corporation, in the field of Organ Regenerative Medicine and Advanced Medical Science Research Center. The system connects isolators with an interchange unit, allowing for the simultaneous large-scale culture of multiple different cells. The materials used can also be decontaminated and stocked within the system, and automatically transported to designated isolators as needed. This system is composed of an existing closed system (isolator technology) and includes an aseptic operation unit, supply stock unit, interchange unit, pass box unit, hydrogen peroxide vapor generation unit, and automated cell culture transport unit. [Overview] - Automation based on a closed system (isolator technology) - Connection of isolators via an interchange unit - Capability for simultaneous large-scale culture of multiple different cells - Ability to decontaminate and stock materials within the system - Automatic transport to designated isolators as needed *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

3D cell culture system "Magnetic3D"

No special equipment or culture medium is required! Spheroid formation can be achieved easily and in a short time.

"Magnetic3D" is a kit designed to attach nanoshuttles (particles composed of iron oxide, gold, and poly-L-lysine) to the cell surface and form spheroids using magnetic force. It allows for the formation of spheroids easily and quickly without the need for special equipment or media. Since it is cultured on low-adhesion surface cell repellent, it can be compared with spheroids that do not use magnetic beads. 【Features】 ■ Usable for cells that have difficulty forming spheroids under normal culture conditions ■ One vial of nanoshuttle can process cells equivalent to one 75cm² flask ■ No effects or toxicity to cells have been confirmed ■ Spheroid formation is rapid and can be utilized with various cell types ■ Cultured on low-adhesion surface cell repellent *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
